The products manufactured by FA Italia are most definitely “Made in Italy'. Their range of chrome accessories are heavily based upon the design of the original PIAGGIO items, at considerably lower prices, with no loss of production or chrome plating quality. The weld seams are tidy, accurate and all items have an engraved FA Italia logo on display to make their origin beyond doubt. FA Italia are one of the first manufacturers to be able to offer their complete range in a lovely shade of black which adds an especially sporting touch in combination with the current original blue, white or orange paintjobs.

Their front carrier is attached to the scooter by hanging it over the top edge of the legshields using the rubber covered hooks incorporated into its design. The frame of your scooter does not need to be drilled or otherwise damaged in order to securely mount this carrier. In addition this carrier is also attached to the lower frame using an angular mounting plate, so providing a solid platform upon which the more heavier and bulky loads can be safely transported.

The distance between the main carrying surface and the bottom of the headlamp is 23.5cm.

The rear carrier is connected to the chassis by four bolts. Although the existing grab rail must be removed during installation the carrier itself has a grab rail that the pillion can use instead. To adequately disguise the ugly frame mounting points we recommend the use of the chrome Vespa logo covers. (#PI623336) Their luggage rack is ideal for carrying a colour matched original PIAGGIO topcase, or that of any other manufacturer, within reason!

Their crash bar systems for both the front mudguard and those for both sidepanels are firmly attached to the scooter using fastening bolts. The paintwork is protected at the fixing points using self-adhesive felt pads and the crash bars protecting the sidepanels are fixed to the frame with longer bolts being used on the existing pillion peg mechanism and at the rear of the chassis. They might not be quite as stable as the original PIAGGIO items, but protect against the smaller scrapes and bumps more than adequately.
